I think you've missed the point I was trying to make. You obviously trust Bates to keep any money you donate to LUFC in LUFC. The point I was trying to make was that Bates' track history of lies and deceipt would make me very worried that my donation would ultimately leave: Me worse off LUFC no better off Ken Bates better off. I suspect a lot of other potential investors feel the same, and that's why their money is still in their pockets.
