What exactly did the MP's do that was wrong? They pressured HMRC to challenge the CVA. That's why we're now running the risk of having no football club. Of course, the mp's should have remained schtum because it wasn't YOUR taxes that were misappropriated, was it? Nope (well, except for whatever taxes they owe from my LUFC TV subscription, my Leeds Leeds Leeds subscription and sundry merchandising). But had it been, frankly, I'd rather my money go to running Leeds United than just about anything else the government might spend it on. Seriously, we were almost out of the woods when the MPs started their mischief-making. I asked a question on the list a few days ago I don't think anyone answered, so I'll ask it again: Is the club now better off as a result of the three "Leeds fan" MPs successfully sabotaging the CVA? I don't believe it is. Others may differ. But it does appear that for some people, sabotaging Leeds' season - and even our very existence - is worth it if they can give Bates a bloody nose in the process. I just don't agree. I don't trust Bates as far as I can spit, but looking around the League, saints seem in rather short supply in club boardrooms these days. I am tired of all the court cases and legal mumbo-jumbo. I want to start winning football matches again. Football isn't fun if you're not winning (which means it hasn't been that much fun most of the last 32 years). Cheers!
