Blah blah blah..

Because if we had (ie no challenge to cva) then we would have our league 1
squad pretty much assembled and enjoying their preseason together. You know,
getting fit, getting to know you, getting to know all about you..

So you still don't think it is time to want to put all this shit behind us
and get on with next season and look forward to a proper buyout of the club?

Course not. Wonder why.

I quoted what the FL said. As I did just then. Perhaps you know more about
the machinations of the FL than the rest of us, pity you can't share that
wisdom with us.

Actually I think my explanation is entirely feasible. The FL as an entity
is pissed off that Bates prodded the HMRC hornet's nest as it gave them the
excuse to possibly challenge football's preferential creditor position.
Lots of FL chairmen are/were pissed off that we went into admin last season
and therefore avoided 10pt deduction this season. Lots of league 1 chairmen
will be quite happy to have thousands of Leeds fans boosting their gates
next season, but lots of league 1 chairmen will also be quite happy for our
preparations for next season to be hampered so we aren't as strong as we
ought to have been.

But no, Bates bought Leeds with the sole intention of destroying the club.

Idiot.
