The manager of the team is, in the big picture, an irrelevance IMHO. In many ways I pity whoever gets the job, he is answerable to a bunch of incompetants and has a limited pool of talent to choose from. He has an obscene media on his back from day 1 and an audience who think we're better than we are. Gee, sounds tempting doesn't it???
