NO. No no no, a million times No. That is the easy, media based, argument that will be rolled out hundreds of times over the next week or two. It is NOT down to commitment. Strip all the hype away and it is down to one thing. Basic application of the game. Tell me more Richard about the Croatian Football Association as that sounds like a man in the know. As for amounts of money spent, you have missed TOTALLY the point, it isn't about how much it's about how. How the money is invested, how the players are coached from day 1. Take away the names, the crowd, the stadium and put last nights game on a local park, blues against whites. Watching that game can only make you turn round to the other man and his dog and say, that blue team play some lovely football, they've been well coached. The white lads, well they're trying their hardest bless them, but they're just not good enough.
