Not wishing to argue with you, nor even necessarily disagree with you, except 
on one point....

Why do you think what the FA pays it's staff with someone else's money? Who's 
money is it exactly?

The FA is not at all like the government who IS playing with OUR money - the FA 
are using the money they charge clubs to be a member of the FA and mosey they 
get from TV for the FA cup and a whole myriad of other charges they may make - 
you may indeed have contributed to this money by attending games, buying an 
England shirt or whatever, but it is not still YOUR money.

If Sainsbury's (for instance) decide to pay their CEO £100K per week with no 
performance targets (and I fully agree with your point that Sainsbury's never 
would) then simply because you may buy an occasional packet of biscuits from 
them, they are not spending your money, but their own.

Unless the FA is partly funded from public funds then it is their money to do 
as they see fit with
