Political thread: t present in the UK it seems that ALL the politicans are "career" politicians i.e. this is their job, and thus they will say and do anything to keep in power with minimal principles and direction.
Perhaps i'm a bit innocent but whether you liked them or not the likes of Foot, Thatcher, Kinnock, Tebbit, Tony Benn (the real one) or Dennis Skinner - they all believed in something and were inspiring in a way. This lot, across the entire spectrum, are so bland it is unreal. Anyhow, what the fek am I talking about - i'm not even british, just a follower of politics. On the footy: note that Nottingham Forest are ALREADY in the bottom three of the C'ship - so if we do well this season and go up, we better be ready for the next step.
