I thought before this game we were destined to lose. With Milwall slipping
up and our sad lot playing the first of 2 games against bottom of the league
oppo - it was almost inevitable that we'd suffer defeat.
Again, a team like Hereford won their Cup Final and we were unable to meet
the occasion with winning our own Cup Final. Grayson warned of complacency
beforehand, perhaps we were not that and just poor. I didn't see any of the
action so can't comment. The longer we go on, the more it's true to say that
we are truly and 3rd division team playing with a 3rd division squad. I
can't see how we'll get out of this division with enough spirit and drive
(like Swansea last season) to stay out of it for long.
Perhaps Beckford is seeing in more detail the error of his ways....
Division 3 is not so bad - we're usually in the top half at least....get
used to it - chin up!!
