It could be worse. I was talking to a bloke the other day and he reckons
that we (as Leeds fans) are extremely lucky.
He has lived with mediocrity all of his football supporting life (52 years),
his team have never tasted success in 120 years and yet he stands by them
through the bad times and the slightly less bad times. He could only dream
of his team making it to the top flight, never mind winning it but he
doesn't dwell on it because it is unlikely to happen.
Would he support another team. Nope. He just gets on with it.
His advice. Accept that Leeds are still famous but crap, change short term
expectations and just get on with supporting the club. It gave me something
to think about.
BTW he supports Shrewsbury Town
