So the FA have asked Leeds to clarify the owners of the club. What happens if
those persons are deemed to be unfit and improper? What happens if they refuse
to be identified? Do they have to denounce ownership immediately? Does the club
get fined and or points deducted? What happens if there's no one to step in and
be fit and proper? Does the club just go under?
Points deduction would be harsh, unlike administration there has been no
benefit playing wise that has come about from having dodgy owners. Going in to
admin wipes out your debt and means you can pay decent wages again so there is
a distinct advantage to that. Of course this is Leeds we're talking about so
we're bound to get -30 points or something.
