I agree with Nick and had a few arguments myself yesterday.On my way out I applauded the team and someone said "what you clapping that shower of shit for" and then continued his barracking. My retort was something along the lines of "cos they tried their best and I am a supporter " Then in the queue for the special bus (aptly named perhaps ?) some real dick was berating Beckford -" he's crap and all he does is score goals" -he did not seem to appreciate that that is exactly what his particular job is - scoring goals. When i pointed out that Beckford had scored our only goal - his response was to say he himself could have scored that one and went on to slag Beckford off for the ones he missed. The discussion ended when he described Beckford as a lazy useless black bastard - did not seem any point is trying to reason with someone like that - a bloke who had 2 teenage girls in his company !! I admit to moaning and groaning and being frustrated with the best of them when passes go astray etc but booing them - never (yes, I get the 'its the only way to let them know \ we pay our money so can do what we want' argument) There is a bloke sat a few rows behind me (each section has one) who spends the 90mins criticising individual players and calling them all the names under the sun and he has done for the 4 seasons I have sat in my current seat - if you feel that way about them all then why do you bother paying your money and going to the game ??
