Not that either of them matter but two things and this is only from youtube so
I've not had the best view.
1. The first goal that was disallowed, was that for offside? It seems to me
that the defender touched the ball on the way through, used to be that if the
ball was played by a defender then you weren't offside. Presuming that rule has
changed
2. Gradel - not excusing him for shoddy behaviour that could have cost us dear.
However, looking at it again and again I think Jones must have said something
to Gradel to set him off Zidane style. Gradel has his back to Jones, then
suddenly turns and stamps on his foot and pushes him. Jones then fakes that
he's been hit in the face the plonker.
Anyway, all water under the bridge and thanks to all the hardcore listers who
keep us lot overseas updated with match reports etc. you know who you are.
Hopefully I'll be dusting off my jester hat in a year or two!
