Hello Gene
The best that I can offer is, Legacy has a trade in program.
your old 1000 almost can not be made into a CNC machine.

I hate to tell you it can not be done, but for your time and money spent, I
believe you would be much happier buying new.
But that is just my two cents worth on it.

good luck. and please let us know how it turns out?

C.A.G.

I would like to convert my Legacy 1000ex to a cnc machine. I guess this is
the term. I would like to add a couple motors (stepper) to automate the
movement. Cranking is not the way to go. Does anybody have experience with
this, and if so what do I need as far as equipment? I live in Culpeper VA.

  Thanks

  Gene
