question...in reference to roger's post, what constitutes a manual
machine?...would it be a machine that does not have a gear motor on the end
of the lead screw?...or is it a machine that is CNC controlled?...and not
to beat a dead horse, but lead screw "whip" is not the issue...i am now
calling the issue i am concerned with, "rotational twisting" of the lead
screw,LOL...and if roger is bending andy's ear, is there any chance of
finding out if there were ever any lead screw concerns in considering
building any extended length legacy, whether it be manual or cnc...and why
do i think it was easier to find bin laden then it will be to get any
legacy inside info, LOL!...thanks guys...joe
