Hi Jenny and all, When I searched my database for Birkenhead (City), Cheshire (County), England (State/Province), United Kingdom (Country) it was found in my database and filled in the Core+ and Core fields exactly as that. I don't know why you are having trouble.
I never have had the problems you are experiencing. If I just type in Birkenhead in the City field and leave all of the rest of the fields blank, I get four alternatives in the list from which I can select the one I want. I get four choices as I have all of the databases downloaded. With regard to your specific example I have two entries to choose from. Both have Cheshire as the County; both have England as the State/Province. The difference between the two is that one has United Kingdom as the country and the other has Great Britain. I choose to have all of my "British" locations as being in the United Kingdom. Stuart Perth Western Australia On 2/5/07, Jenny M Benson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

I can see the point of trying to make every country fit with the US standard of 4 fields, but for UK addresses it would be preferable to have England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland as the State/Province and UK as the Country. It makes no sense at all to have an English location such as Birkenhead,, Cheshire, England when there is no field missing. -- Jenny M Benson
