I recommend that you sit back and take a deep
breath. I have a one month old Dell laptop with
Vista and it is working just fine. I never even
used the setup that I paid for since I set it up
myself and transferred files from my old desktop
to the new laptop.

Go slow and easy. Legacy was installed,
registered, and pointed to the family file which
had been transferred, and works just fine. I also
installed FTM and after an update it works fine.

All in all my own experience with Vista has
surprised me because I had been warned it would be
bad. It wasn't.
