If you just want List Style, just opt for that in output - unless you want the list to be in a different order than the default.

You don't need to edit Event sentences to get a list style. You can then choose on various reports to either use a list or have sentences.

Is there a way to eliminate Legacy's sentence structure for events. I would like to use my own wording in the description without Legacy adding words.

You can't do away with Legacy's sentences altogether, but you can do the next best thing.

If you are using all the fields, change the sentence structure for each Event to something like "[EventName] [Desc] [Date] [Place][Sources]". You can change the order, include punctuation or omit fields as appropriate.

If you only use Event Name and then put all the information about the Event in Notes, then use the "If Desc, Date and Place are empty" field and enter "[EventName][Notes][Sources]". (Without the quotation marks, of course.)

It will take a little while to set up the sentences if you use a lot of Event Names, but once it is done your Events will be in exactly the format you want.
