My point was that there is aparently no known (to me) population size, that 
guarantees inclusion in the various map programs. The USA has the same lack of 
'criterion'.  I have since its first download, requested adding locations 
missing from the GEO. I gave up.

A great many more than 500! There were, between 1970 and 1974, at least 
1500 students! Big commuter town. County town - the equivalent of a 
state capital I suppose.
