Mine defaults to myself on the left with the highlighted person on the right.
Since I am the start person this seems correct to me. If I change the start
person then that person appears on the left. I use "set relationships" before
using the relationship calculator which takes a few seconds on a DB of 5000 and
the results of the calculator are instant.

The word "Unknown" appears in the Wives List in version 6 but does not print. I
have noticed some places where it now occurs where it did not before, but I
have yet to find an instance of it printing or appearing on webpages. I cannot
remember whether or not I had to set to "Unknown" before the "just use blank"
would work.

I am not privy to the thinking of Legacy, I'm afraid, but I rather wish that
they had been.
