Yes, the icon in the uppermost left corner includes an option for page setup
where you can set the paper orientation. But why can't you use landscape in
pdf?

I'm trying to use the standard descendant chart. If your's shows a portrait
view, then maybe there is an option somewhere to toggle the charts between
portrait and landscape.
