Hi,since you are looking at two separate family files of your research, I take 
from this that recently (not sure when) you decided to check one of you backup 
files from back lets say in 2008 (give or take a month or so). When you exited 
Legacy and reopened it again the file that opened was not your present up to 
date family file but the file you had opened from 2008 (or whatever). Since you 
never noticed this you have been working on this older file for a while, now 
that you have noticed the difference you need to know how to correct it. Is 
this what happened?
