I too was always taught that one should use the add/remove function if 
available, if not then use the uninstall from the program.  I tried both and 
neither would uninstall Legacy.

I'm not sure, I have used both! I always uderstood, but may be wrong, that the 
Windows Add/Replace first's choice was to use the programs uninstaller, if one 
was available.
