There is no reason for panic. The problems that were around at that time were 
mostly fixed within the month. When you get a message that updating is 
available, waiting a week is more that sufficient. Any problems in the program 
surface within hours of that update, since many of us want the newest and best, 
and are verbal about the new 'bug'. Besides, the last one that affected data 
was in early L5 (?) or earlier, so your data (which is backed up anyway) will 
be safe. I read the problems, but since they were in reports I didn't use 
anyway, I avoided going there until fixed. You can check the archives to see 
which (if any) are pending now.
