User ID's are for exactly what you want - ID numbers assigned by the User (you) for whatever reason you may want them. That is where I would put them.
AFN is Ancestral File Number - so you can identify tha you have found that person in the Ancestral File (which will eventually be not so useful.) > I'm not sure what others use these User ID or the AFN's for, so didn't want > to use them, only to find out they might have a better use in the future. > Thanks again, > Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
