Please don't say this is off-topic :-) Many of us "novices" to
website creation will be interested in the answers from you more
experienced people and you know who you are. In the last few weeks,
the question was answered that you can create the website from within
Legacy but in order for it to be posted online for people to view, you
need to have a website through another entity. Some ISPs provide a
certain amount of free space for that purpose, other places provide
sites for various fees.

So when I have prepared my website through my Legacy program, how much
"space" will I need for it? i.e., is it unreasonable to expect that a
free service would have enough "space"? What should I look for in
deciding where to place my website?

I'm asking in this forum because you experienced guys know what the
pros & cons are specifically for a family tree website created by
Legacy. If you have some specific recommendations, that's fine too,
but at least a general idea of what things to look for in a good
website provider that will keep me happy for awhile. I don't want to
have to recreate because I didn't realize something wasn't going to
work well.

I'd like to have my tree, including as much of my information &
sources as possible, available to my family. I would like to be able
to include pictures. Pictures don't necessarily have to be attached
to the individual in the tree although that's good too; I think I'd
like to have a separate section with pictures if possible. Or maybe
you have better suggestions.

Thank you! Kathy Meyer
