Ron:

Live and learn! Now I have to re-think the use of those selections. Thanks
again.

Kirsten,

Yes, it does seem logical. The fact is that by selecting to show the comment
on the first time only your are, in effect, creating two different
citations, one with the comment and one without.

Jenny and Ron:

I believe I've found the quirk causing the duplicate source citations. In
creating the Master Source I added text in the "Comments about this Master
Source" box, and checked to include it on reports the first time only. In
experimenting now, I changed that selection to "each time"--and the
duplicated citation disappeared.

I wouldn't expect that one time/every time choice to have the side effect of
duplicating sources, but perhaps that's the way it's supposed to work. Does
this seem logical to you?

Thanks so much for helping to investigate this issue.

Kirsten

Kirsten, is this happening with everybody, or just one couple?

If the latter, my guess would be that some (possibly tiny) difference in
the details has somehow crept in, even though I think you used the
clipboard to copy and paste the citation. I would try doing the C&P
from one instance to the other 2 again.

If it's happening for lots of couples ... I'm stumped!
