I should mention as a retired call center collector that outbound calls would be made from different numbers than inbound calls would be directed. So you could think it was a spoof number when it wasn't. I would image that most centers that do outbound calling have that type of a phone system. Also I have not received any calls from GenealogyBank.com. I get a lot of E-Mails from World Vital Records because I bit on their free days during some holiday or special about a year ago. I just couldn't figure out how to do an effective search. Ancestry may not bring up what I want immediately; but I can usually find some way to get the info.

Since it's a toll free number, it could be from anywhere or a bogus number that can't be called back. We have caller id and we religiously let calls go to the answering machine if we do not recognize the caller.
