I agree with John.  From my own many years writing help screens and providing 
customer support, you need to put that information prominently up front.  Most 
users will not read all the way to the bottom of the screen if they don't think 
they're being helped right away.  Should they read the whole screen?  
Absolutely.  But they don't.  Should they read the user manual?  Positively.  
But they won't.  Customer support personnel can avoid a lot of inquiries if 
they understand that short attention span to begin with.
