techs on his issue, if he hasn't already. This isn't something we can
resolve by a long discussion on the list.  The whole thread has gotten
very convoluted.....>>

I twice asked support for a comment on how the database handled manual
additions while connected through LFS. The first answer was not to the
question I asked, so I asked again a few months ago. I figured if I was
going to get any answer I would probably have it by now, so I deleted
the tracking number. I know that I will probably lose anything I add
while LFS is working, and I can work around that problem, but I wanted
to understand what was happening. I did not think it would require
discussion, or that if it did, I would get a response to that effect
from support.
