Such a great reminder to not rely on "found" genealogies! They might
be a good starting point (or not), but they should always be verified!

A very good researcher had posted a genealogy which merged with my
line and went back to the 1500's - it broke down my brick wall, or so
I thought. Not long after that, she recalled the genealogy, stating
she went the wrong way and the genealogy was all wrong. But by that
time, it had been posted on other web sites and even printed in a book

Even some of the DAR and SAR applications are questionable!
