In sharing, you pick a person and do the event, click on the share button and pick all the people you wish to share the with. That shares what you wrote with all those named. Any changes you wish to make, like in the detail, are made in the shared event to everyone. That’s why I’ve gone to the clipboard: I can make those individual changes without effecting everyone.

Then I heard about the Event Clipboard, tried it and love it. With this one, I can change or add to what is pasted and it only changes that one person. Take an event like: Residence 22 Broadway 4 Apr 1920 New York City, New York County, New York, USA Attach exactly to: father, mother, daughters, sons, grandchildren, grandmother, etc. with the same modified event sentence. Current, I copy the event and go to each person’s page and enter it separately. Even if I could copy the event and then select a list for it to attach to, it would save time. I have looked at shared events but they change my sentences and put in extraneous items I don’t want. I tried to make it work for me but couldn’t. <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=emailclient&utm_term=icon> Virus-free. <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=emailclient&utm_term=link> www.avast.com -- LegacyUserGroup mailing list LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com <mailto:LegacyUserGroup@legacyusers.com> To manage your subscription and unsubscribe http://legacyusers.com/mailman/listinfo/legacyusergroup_legacyusers.com Archives at: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ -- Debby Flood
