One way you could do this (perhaps it's the only way) is to use Microsoft Access to query your legacy family file database to find those records in the tblEX Events table that have a value in the IDRO field that does not match an existing IDRO value in the tblRO table (this is effectively the Master list of Event Roles).
It would seem that the relevant role records were somehow deleted from the tblRO table.
