Herb, Pocket Genealogist is view only at the moment. It does have a "Research Note" facility (not to be confused with "Research Notes" in Legacy) that you can enter data attached to a person, then sync it back to the desktop and then either print or cut and past into Legacy.
A full data entry version is under development and is a free upgrade for current users. The current "Public Beta" ( http://www.northernhillssoftware.com/pgeniebeta.htm ) allows for entry of Notes, Events and the ability to add individuals. The data that you sync back to the desktop can be exported to GEDCOM but eventually I hope to have direct synchronization back into the Legacy database. (Obviously a very tricky process that will need a significant amount of testing) Kevin Phillips Northern Hills Software ----- Original Message ----- From: "Herb Palm" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 20, 2002 10:04 AM Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Pocket Genealogist > Something to consider no matter what type, size, device you may be > interested in - how will your get edited data back into your MAIN data > base in Legacy???
