Hi, Dennis Confess I haven't had to deal with "mixed" adoptions, where one parent is natural parent. I tried: Add a couple A and B with child X. Tick "show 1/2 half kids" Child X appears as child of father A and mother B. Now add a 2nd husband C to B Switch to Family View for step-fatherC and mother B Child X now appears as 1/2 (with the father's name in brackets). Family Views now look OK, but because the child isn't LINKED to stepfatherC and mother B, you can't mark the Relationship "adopted"..
