No; you can not align columns of data that will appear correctly in reports,
on web pages, and on the screen at the same time. It is just a limitation of
the notes field.

I tried using courier (which is odd to look at now we have such font
choices!) as Bob suggested, and it did line up better in notes--but still
was askew when I tried printing reports.

Am I being really dense?
