Hi Alice, Whilst it might be the case that Wendy has run out of memory this is not clear as we do not know if only Legacy is affected. If not then we could be more certain (it could also be a defective RAM).
I have only 250Mb of RAM and only run out of memory when doing several very large graphics at the same time and then very rarely. However, having said that, I do use a program called Free RAM which frees up unused RAM when the level of free RAM drops to a predetermined level. This program works quietly in the background and is free from: http://www.yourwaresolutions.com/
Hope this helps

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy goes 'blank' at the same time each night.
I'm not a computer geek, but my conclusion is that my computer has run low on Random Access Memory. I have a relatively new computer using XP Home with 512 MB of RAM and 85% free space on my hard drive, but after an all day and into the evening session at the computer with Legacy and other programs, even this machine can run out of RAM. -- Alice
