Ed,

I would suggest to MOVE your databases to the memory drive and use it
exclusively for data entry.  When you exit each database, backup to your
local hard drive.

This will eliminate any problems with "Which Database did I modify."

Robert and Glen, thank you! I'll drop the latest Legacy download onto the
memory stick.

One of my two databases has those magic numbers turned on for collaboration.
I now see it would be a good idea to turn on collaboration with the other
database. At the worst, if I got out of sync with myself, I could do a
merge.

I'm a lot safer if I assume that I *will* screw up at some point, and plan
accordingly!

As a friend of mine once explained about Murphy's Laws:

"I've never been too religious, never worried too much about God... but I've
never had the slightest doubt about Murphy!"
