I suppose that's the main difference between an event-linked program like
TMG or a lineage-linked program like Legacy, isn't it??

Of course, you've got Search & Replace to change the spelling.

I agree that the event clipboard was a major step in the right direction
and, in fact, use it to create pseudo linked events.  But creating them is
not the issue.  Let's say that I add 40 family members who attended a
wedding.  I create a list, add the event to the first person, then copy it
via the event clipboard to the other 39. 
Takes a while but saves a lot of time.  Ten minutes later I realize that I
misspelled weddin and need to correct.  This time it is either repeat the
clipboard or do 40 edits.  That's my definition of bulky.
