Robert,
Don't worry about it. It seems that this isn't a feature in my version
anyway. I started off by going through everybody's event notes using the
delete key at the end, but it was taking for ever as lots of them didn't
have any spaces left at the end. Now what I've done is send the 1900
pages of Family Group Records to a pdf document. I'm scrolling through
the pdf document and the places where there are spaces left are easily
seen. When I come to one, I simply switch to Legacy, find the offending
person and their event and get rid of the spaces. It's taking a while
but much quicker than the other way. Unfortunately the same thing has
happened with some of the sources - sometimes with the master source
itself where I've added comments or details, in which case I have to go
to the master source list to fix it - and sometimes with the citation
details I've added, in which case I have to find all the incidences of
the citation in the family. In my Family Group Records I have my sources
at the end of each record, so if it's a large family, it is sometimes
difficult trying to track down the fault. I'm getting there slowly - up
to page 1100 of the 1900 now. Thanks for trying to help.
Patricia

Patricia-

I think I jumped the gun. If you select someone, and go to Notes for
that person, on the right is a panal of buttons. "Strip HTML" is four
buttons down, right below "Wordwrap..." I first though you were putting
things into notes that had spaces at the end. Sometimes HTML uses those
spaces for formatting, and Strip HTML will remove that.

Pressing F5 will take you to notes for the highlighted person. Sorry for
the confusion.

Robert
