Hi I uninstalled 5 deluxe, cleared entries in the registry and installed V6, entered the unlock code all seems to be in order. Working a treat. If I still need it I still have the V5 installation file on the HD. If it was to get that dire then I could re-install it. Remember the latest update to V5 changed the file format to V6 so if you add to your file in V6 and need to go back to V5 then it should be ok.

Did anyone else notice the recommendation to uninstall earlier versions before installing v6? This statement is found on Legacy's web site: "Please uninstall any older versions of Legacy before installing Legacy 6.0. If an earlier version is present and you don't uninstall it first, it may remain in the system registry. If you remove an earlier version of Legacy after installing Legacy 6.0, Legacy 6.0 may not work and you will need to reinstall it to fix the problem." Does this apply to all earlier versions, including v5.xx? Perhaps tech support can elaborate? What if a user wants to keep v5 installed as a backup to v6?
