Hi Gail,

I have found that in areas for text editing, notes, sources, etc., where the formatting buttons aren't available, the older (Legacy 4 and 5) way we did it by inserting the formatting codes manually still works. Note the examples below aren't showing exactly correct as I don't believe the character for the double-angle brackets will go through on text email, but you will find them available from the special character ribbon in each edit window..

bold: <> text here <>
underline <> text here <>
italics <> text here <>

Hope this helps. I find the technique works great in the source detail and other areas for formatting text output.

Subject: Fw: [LegacyUG] Enhanced text (bold. underline, italics) needed in master source editor

I know the list has been busy, but can anyone help with this one?
Thanks!
Gail

Is there a way to format the master source Title so that part of the text is italicized and the other part is not? I see that the buttons below the Title field are an all-or-nothing choice. I tried to click "None" under "Formatting of title" and then use the old Ctrl + i on some highlighted text, but I couldn't get that to work. Sometimes I need this in the other master source fields as well.

Anyone have any other work-around ideas?
Thanks in advance,
