Hi Dean,

Yes wouldn't that be nice, but I'm afraid I haven't figured out a way to do it.

If it helps, the method I use is to add the data to Legacy whilst I am on the data in question. So if it is a web page or a jpg then I have it running also and toggle from one to the other.

I would welcome any other suggestions also.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Viewing Pictures & Individual Information windows at the same time

I'm wondering if it is possible to view a Picture in Legacy and an
Individual's Information at the same time, or at least the Family View?

Here's why - I have pictures of my sources saved on the Source Detail, and
would like to be able to view the source picture and enter information for
the individual without having to memorize the information, close the
picture, and the source, and the event, and then open the picture back up
again to view additional information.

As an alternative, maybe we could right-click on the picture to open it with
a different program and then we would be able to toggle between the two
windows? Or, I see options for alternate browser, word processor, text
editor, and reader, and even and option for using Legacy or Windows Media
Player for sound and video, but I don't see an option for an alternate
picture viewer.

Has anyone else figured out how to do this, or asked for this before?

Dean
