Hi gang,
It's me again. I received my CD 6.0 in the mail Friday. I have backed
up my old Legacy 5.0 Deluxe files. Before I did that I Updated to the
most recent build date. Then I proceded to install 6.0 using my CD.
Everything appeared normal. My Legacy 5.0 shorcut disappeared from the
desktop, and was replaced by the Legacy 6.0 shortcut icon.
When I clicked on the Legacy 6.0 shortcut icon the Legacy 6.0
advertisement window appeared followed shortly by two error messages:
1. Run-time 380 (invalid property value)
2. Message file record #12601 not found.
I then sent an email to Legacy Support, but have not had a response as
of Saturday 9.00am. In the meantime I am out of business because I
can't open my Legacy program. I carried out a search of all of my
Legacy files and they all were found except those identified as Legacy 5.0.
You are dealing with an inept researcher pushing 80 who needs all the
help he can get. I am open to all suggestions and procedures.
