I currently have a "master" database with "all" of my family in it,
including my wife's family. I am trying to give a distant cousin on my
father's side a gedcom containing only my father's family members. In
other words I want to exclude my wife's family and my mother's family.
I've tried using the focus group to create a list that I can tag (for
export), but I invariably end up with my mother's family included or
member's of my father's side missing.
Can anyone offer some advice on how I should separate my father's side
from my mother's side (using the focus group or otherwise)?
Thanks,
David
