An Event is made up of two or three fields.  Field 1 is the name of the
event.  Then there is the time of the event and then there is the place
at which the event happpend.  Facts have two fields.  The name of
the fact and the fact itself. <snip>

I have quite a few events (facts) that have no date field. Legacy's custom 
event definition allows for description and/or date and/or place.  Couldn't be 
easier, and I love the flexibility.
