No, you're not not out of it.
You just weren't paying attention !   ;-))

Aparently there is a British Organization that for decades kept
(or keeps) some records that are important to genealogists doing
genealogy in Brittain, that are Quarterly Dates.  So for example
it will say that someone was born in "Jan Q 1897".  Meaning the
January Quarter of 1897.  It gives a little better "resolution" of the
date than just a year, but not much.  So the good folks at
Millennia are among the first to accomdate this kind of date in
Legacy without just letting it go as an "undefined date string".

I'm not an expert on these curious and obscure date forms,
so my example above may be off a bit.
