One thing I was hoping would change with the 99 version is sometimes having
to use the mouse instead of the keyboard -- for example, when entering or
citing a master source, you can use the keyboard for saving much of the info
(Alt, s), but to enter today's date you can't do an Alt t (for today), but
have to use your mouse and click on "Today's date". Then you can do an Alt
s to save the info, but can't do an Alt C to close the next screen. Instead
I have to use my mouse again and it usually takes me 2 movements of the
mouse to get there. Things would go so much faster if I didn't have to
switch between keybord and mouse, especially when I usually have to make 2
movements to get to the Close button.
There are other instances of this kind of thing.
Does this query make sense? I don't feel as though I'm explaining it very
well.
The main thing I want to know is WHY things are set up in this manner, which
slows input down.
Thanks!
Pat
