Markie,

Pocket Genealogist can modify the Legacy database if the user selects 2-way
synchronization. It fully supports ALL elements in Legacy with the
exception of photos. During update back into Legacy, it actually first
makes a copy of the Legacy database, then makes the updates and if
successful it will prompt the user to make a backup then will replace the
Legacy database.

It's had the ability to update Legacy databases since September of 2004 and
we've never had a data integrity issue. (It's VERY strict with making it's
updates, if it thinks there is anything wrong during the update it will
abort)

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Clooz

I'm aware that the final release was issued on May 10th. I installed it on
May 11th (after testing the public beta in April) and uninstalled it
yesterday.

My points are:

1. Clooz DOES modify Legacy .fdb files. To my knowledge, this is the only
Legacy "add-on" that does so.
2. Sherry indicated she was unaware of said modification.

What's your point?
