Funny ... I've been working on Linux exclusively for the past year+
(and not exclusively even longer)...

I made a presonal branch of Leo, to use with sphinx generation that
would play nicer with other sphinx contexts (mainly, to generate just
plain *rst files).

This has been working really well - I have sphinx docs on projects,
and 2 things open: Leo to update anything in docs, and WIng to
develop the app (mostly web based apps at this point).

I love it.

I just got a new macbook, and so tried to see if my development
environment would move here (my linux postable is an HP mini-311;
works fine, but is mini, and now - I have to travel, and would rather
not take 2 laptops...)

Ok - to the punch line: Mac is nice (I like the gestures), but I've
installed a few things to "work" with my tools protably.

Leo ---- so far, has not played nice. Yes, there is Tk. Leo just
has errors. Yes, Wing suggests installing newest python yourself -
and I've done both (Snow Leopard has 2.6.1, but I installed 2.6.4 ....
dont' think I needed to).

Forget about Qt (for now) - first is to just catch the errors in Leo,
and fix those (on mac).... I'm not sure if I would have time, but if I
do, I'll post patch proposals to at least the base Mac Python
environment (and I can make sure patches won't affect Linux, but
that's about it).
