This looks like an interaction problem with the bookmarks.py plugin. Not exactly sure it's fair to blame the plugin... Restoring an icon from a persisted uA has the unwanted side effect of setting the @auto file dirty. I spent some time tracking down this bug, but have no good idea about how to squash it.
